Orders, Payments, Shipping & Delivery

  • We accept credit card payments.
    All payments by credit or prepaid (Visa, Visa Electron and MasterCard) card are made through a secure page of Piraeus Bank. When you complete your order and if you choose a method of payment by credit card, you will be redirected to a secure page of Piraeus Bank, where you will complete your purchase. Greek-artifact-store.gr does not store credit card data or have any access to them. 
  • We accept payments via PayPal.
  • All prices include VAT.
  • Shipping fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
  • The total charges will be shown on the check-out page before submitting the payment.
  • All orders for stock items are processed and shipped in the order they are received within 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday) upon receipt of the payment confirmation.
  • The delivery time for out of stock items depends on the type of product. We will notify you of the expected delivery time, as soon as we receive your order.

 
NOTE:
We ship world-wide using Express Mail Service (EMS), a cheap, fast and safe method based on the weight of the items; we also offer Special Priority Mail (SPM) Service, and Guaranteed Next Business Day delivery to principal destinations in Europe and in the USA.

Shipping time estimates are subject to clients’ location, weather conditions and customs screenings, so please kindly wait. Usually items arrive much faster than our estimates, but some parcels are randomly held by customs for screenings and this can delay the delivery.

On receiving the goods, please check if the package is in perfect condition and make sure that it is not damaged. If the package is broken or damaged, please check the merchandise in front of the carrier. If you discover any defect or damage, you are entitled not to receive the package.

ORDER CANCELLATION
You may cancel your order prior to the merchandise shipment by e-mail to customerservice@greek-artifact-store.gr or by telephone at +30 28210 59181.

You may cancel all or part of your order up until your items are shipped to you - this is when we take your credit or debit card payment. You can't cancel an order after it has been shipped. If you have an account, your order status and the items contained in your order will show up under “My Orders”. If you have an order that is being sent in a number of separate consignments, you can cancel any items that are not yet shipped to you.

For out of stock items, if we have not received any request from the customer within 24 hours after submitting the order, we process it and then we begin the handicraft process. Once the product enters the first handicraft step, it belongs exclusively to the customer who ordered it and nobody else, (i.e. the customer is the actual owner of the item even though it has not been shipped yet). We cannot accept any return or exchange once the product has been handcrafted because of the extensive process involved in the manufacturing of hand-made products.

This is why we recommend our customers to first carefully review our site for detailed product description, as well as check the order confirmation email for any discrepancy that could lead to problems.
